You would think the Irish would be more sympathetic to Israeli's, as they both earned their statehood blowing up the bloody British. Perhaps the Irish are jealous, since Israel was more successful? But then again, perhaps the Irish are just experts at recognizing racist, fascist oppression, when they see it?
