I think what really killed TAS was the internet.....Conservatives own the medium....look at FR....A biweekly, or monthly magazine...is outdated by the time you receive it.....even the three newsweeklies today are irrelevant.......nope, I just think it's a victim of technology

I loved American Spectator!!! I will sorely miss it!! I have been wondering what was going on with it...every time I went to Barnes and Noble, they kept moving the mag to different parts of the mag stand...really made me mad....figured they were trying to eliminate conservative opinion....

Hopefully, another great conservative mag will come along...conservatives refuse to stay down!!!

Good point. One example: my favorite feature in the Spectator was the back page, where readers would send in examples of liberal stupidity. That was great 10 years ago, but nowadays, when Michael Moore says something stupid, we've already posted it, analyzed it, mocked it, etc. within 24 hours of him saying it. Why wait months for a magazine to do the same thing?
