It's easy for some to bash every thing the government is doing, they're sitting here and the people in Washington are sitting there, responsible for 280,000,000 lives.

No thanks, I'm happy being responsible for myself. Having said that, I don't envy W's position due to the fact that there are more than enough people who want a nanny.

I don't want a nanny, but one thing the federal government is responsible for under the Constitution is the common defense and welfare of its people. They have very little other place in our lives, but this one they do have.
