[history]
More than 3,000 people rallied behind Rep. Barbara Lee, the only member of Congress to oppose a resolution granting President Bush authority to use force against terrorists.
The crowd in downtown Oakland erupted in cheers Sunday when actor Danny Glover walked Mrs. Lee to the podium about two hours into the rally. Mr. Glover called Mrs. Lee a hero. Alice Walker, the writer, called her inspiring, the Associated Press reports.

What has Alice Glover written, so that I know to boycott it?
To: PackerBoy
Pretty sad to see this, I had heard he showed up. I really thought he was a stand up kinda guy and I didn't know what his political affiliation was before this and even if he leaned to the left I could still enjoy his movies but this is just too far over the top.
Shame on Danny, shame!

Hopeless Danny Glover, who can't even hail a taxi in New York?? Absolutely, he's history!

Uh...this wouldn't have anyting to do with widespread antipathy for judaism within the black community, would it?

If Danny Glover knew that all those cab drivers in NY that passed him up were from Afghanistan, he'd be singing a different tune.

That's easy for me, since I already boycott ALL movies that come from Hollywood.
To: PackerBoy
That's not asking too much; he sucks as an actor because his speech is atrocious. But then again I think DeNiro can't get past that "Guido" thing he's got going on, so I don't consider him the great actor so many others do either.

I hope you mean Alice Walker. ;-)

Just as an aside, I wonder why Danny Glover hobbles around like his shoes are too tight? Anyway, he can't act and I don't care for his movies to start with.

So, did Danny Glover cash the checks from the "Lethal Weapon" movies he made (4 and counting, I believe). What a liberal hypocrite.
To: PackerBoy
I am already boycotting all leftist movies.
