The show "Friends" is just the kind of self-indulgent crap that dominated the 90's (and still does to some extent). It's all about "me, myself and I". The 70's were the "me" decade, the 80's was the so-called "greed" decade and the 90's was the "screw you, I am the most important person in the world" decade.

I gave up on Danny when he told NY cabbies they should stop for gang members.
I hadn't heard that one, but it's starting to fit a pattern with this guy. Veteran black cabbies have told me they feel sorry for inexperienced drivers who stop for young, black toughs.
