Just announced on NBC 4 TV DC: Latest possible anthrax case has been admitted to GBMC {Greater Baltimore Medical Center} in Towson MD. No other details have been released. This in addition to the 2 people admitted to Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. last night, one male and one female.....stable condition, both connected to the Brentwood Postal facility.

11 News Baltimore TV: Pt treated for suspected anthrax...Doctors will not reveal any details..It is believed that the person worked at the Brentwood Facility{sources tell 11 News}.Dr Charles Haile/Gbmc says people should not be worried...Health Department confirms this story....

Wasn't it anounced at the U. of Texas, I believe, last week that they had developed an anti-toxin that seemed to prevent anthrax from killing lab mice?
Time for human trials. I'm sure that there would be willing volunteers.

I heard an as yet unconfirmed report of an anthrax outbreak in Calif..This was on The American Freedom Network this morning.Maybe a rumor, but has anyone else heard anything about it? Someone called into the show, and said something was being covered up.

She also said "this could prove to be a major development" if someone outside the of the postal worker system has indeed contracted inhalation anthrax. That might indicate someone who toured the facility (media who covered the facility are also receiving Cipro, if they want it), or spores being passed on by a postal worker. The person was described as someone who did not work at the postal center, but "had a connection to" the Brentwood facility. Cryptic, yet tantalizing.

I worked at GBMC as a Pharmacy Technician for a couple of years. Good place. Plenty of Cipro. And Cipro, I.V., 400mg bags. (fun to toss).
