Should Conservatives Support Rudeness? Why booing Senator Clinton is beneath us.
self

First of all, to prevent the flamings, I should say that I am a strong conservative, and my number one issue is the life issue and so I am not at all a supporter of the Clintons etc.

That being said, I thought it the height of rudeness for these firemen and policemen to boo and yell at the Senator this weekend. It lacked dignity and class. I thought we conservatives were supposed to stand for such things, or perhaps this is just what we say, but do not practice.

I wonder what Burke et al would have said about this conservative embrace of very questionable manners.

The policemen and firemen should have just done nothing when she appeared on stage, no clapping, no booing, the silence would have expressed the same thing, but in a much more dignified way.

Who the hell is kissing Hillary's ass? Those police and firemen made themselves look like asses and they didn't hurt Hillary Clinton; they helped her. Anyone but a meathead would see that; my Lord, haven't we been through 8 years and counting of pollsters telling us that Hillary Clinton's poll numbers rise on sympathy? Booing her is the way to get her elected President, just like meathead Rick Lazio got her elected Senator with his stupid business of treating her rudely in the debate last year.

Its your kind that gave us the Clintons; I could make a case for that.

Yep, agree with you whole heartedly.

Rotten eggs and tomatoes would have been more appropriate than mere booos..Given her position on the life issue I'm puzzeled by your sensitivity.

I think calling firemen and cops rude lacks dignity and class.

The you should have just done nothing when policemen and firemen made their feeling known, no clapping, no booing, no starting stupid threads, the silence would have expressed the same thing, but in a much more dignified way.

Why do you think they call it the Bronx Cheer? People from New York will let you know in a heart beat how they feel. I think this whole thing since the bombings has shown New Yorkers that their Senator is NOT a New Yorker like them, no matter how many votes she got.

They also know they are stuck with her for four years.

We should remember to boo her every time.

You have to remember that Hillary and her husband are responsible for a lot of this mess we're in.

Like, how many times do you have to get hit in the head? Lazio's poll numbers were competitive despite running a lousy, lazy campaign until he pulled that stunt of going after her at his first debate with her. That was the decision maker for all the undecideds. He looked like a nasty middle-schooler.

Hillary Clinton has a shell like a turtle and more than 5 years left on a 6 year term. You're not hurting her feelings. Did you ever hear of "strategy" and choosing your battles? No, I guess not.

Her Cronies put her up there and she wasn't expected,so her appearence was a nasty surprise. At two of her functions ,the Police were spit upon and the Boy Scouts were Boooooooooed. What goes around comes around, She deserved it,She is just slime.
