I remember hearing much of this in a news story - 60 Min. or some show like that - in which a female reporter from Oklahoma said she had uncovered information of connections btween McVeigh to Iraq and the Phillipines, but when she tried to present it to the FBI, they ignored it. One of the things I remember is that they thought the Iraqi that McVeigh had befriended portrayed himself as being anti-Hussein, and angry at the U.S. Govt for leaving the Kurds hanging after the war, while he was, in fact, an Iraqi secret service agent. I've never seen any follow-up on that story, which seems odd in itself.

Mayber Schippers got US News to listen to him. Maybe he turned them onto it and finally someone in the Pentagon confirmed it. Maybe Schippers finally "blew the lid off", as he said he was about to do.

Terry Nichols had connections to the Philippines. He was married at one time to a Filipina.
