You were born here, so you believe what you believe. They were born there, so they believe what they believe. But had your places of birth been reversed, you'd be every bit as vehement a defender of Allah. Then you yourself are making this particular claim merely because you were born where you were were born.

What's ironic is that later in the thread OWK admits that he was raised with Christianity, which he obviously has rejected, so his personal choice is an example against his own point.
The difference to me is that most Muslims have no choice - they are considered Muslims from birth and most Islamic countries do not allow denunciation of Islam or conversion to any other faith. Until Muslims have the freedom to choose their own beliefs, OWK's point lacks significant merit, imo.
And sorry about the age of the thread, OWK - I read through a good part of the thread before realizing it was 2 years old, but I figured since it's now generated about 100 new posts, old discussion is fair game. :)
