I pray, President Bush, that you wont pursue what you have in your mind because if you do, Im going on record as saying this, you will end the United States as it is currently known, Minister Farrakhan warned, adding that Gods judgment will visit the country.Does "Minister" Farrakhan know something we don't know?

You know, I am not here to laud Farrakhan, and certainly dont agree wholesale with what he said ------ but there's a lot to be said for some real self-examination about this country's foreign policies since the end of the second world war

Websters definition of "atonement"
1: RECONCILIATION
2: the reconciliation of God and man through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ
3: reparation for an offense or injury: SATISFACTION
4 Christian Science: the exemplifying of man's oneness with God
IMHO Farrakhan is spitting in the wind...

ROFL!
Im going on record as saying "Minister" Farrakhan knows, umm, wheel barrels full of stuff we don't know. Whether any fraction of all that crap he "knows" has any connection to truth or reality as most of us know it is a whole 'nother question!

Does anyone really care what Farrakhan says? :/

If I understand what this nutcase is saying, is that atonement requires sacrifice to the gods that need atonement, hence that means letting terrorist kill US civilians to satisfy their appetites instead of going to war against them. Truly repulsive.

This statement comes darn close to looking like some Pat Robertson proclamation. But will his comments bring the same backlash?

The 16th? I wonder why he didn't wait for the 19th. I mean, didn't we learn from the man himself at the Million Man March how central the number 19 is to the concept of atonement?

Does "Minister" Farrakhan know something we don't know? To put it into terms you may understand, we neither have enough weapons or enough soldiers or enough money to impose our will on three quarters of the world, and if we attempt to do so rather than work with local people in different regions, we will implode just as the Soviet Union did after their Afghan experience.

Your point is valid, but what I was hinting at is Farrakhan's documented links with terror sponsors like Ghaddafi, including funding of Farrakhan's "Nation of Islam" organization. My suspicion is that Farrakhan and his cohorts may have intelligence about and may even be implicated in past or future terrorist attacks on the United States.

", you will end the United States as it is currently known, Minister Farrakhan warned, adding that Gods judgment will visit the country."
Does Mr. Farrakhan have plans to flee the country temporarily and return later to the set up a new Muslim government?
Deportation to the Afghanistan would be doing this traitorous bastard a favor. He's an American-hating Muslim who's being allowed to preach his venom. That's not free speech - it's national suicide.

Then will the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan call on the muslim world to atone for the sins perpetrated against innocent American citizens on 9/11/2001?
