else I'll find someone who will share their blister and I'll vaccinate my kids and myself on my own from it. It's a live virus sI have a small scar on my wrist,I suspect was a "share a blister"when one of my kids were done..but I dont know how effective that would be as a mode of immunity

You might have some immunity, they ---the CDC--says 10 years, but sometimes that's just a number, it can be longer for some. Even a little immunity is better than nothing. I'd try to get another vaccination to be on the safe side. I think there is only reason to have some concern but the vaccine production could be greatly speeded up, otherwise there's other ways if we really had to.
