First of all, the company that was supposed to be making the smallpox vaccinations has not made any since it was established to do so. Sounds like quite a coincidence, since the company that makes anthrax vaccine was reportedly bought a few years back, and has not produced any more vaccines, in spite of military contracts to do so. Two things stand out with that situation. First, the reason they have ceased production is because the FDA ordered them to cease production. Until the FDA lifts the prohibition, they can't begin producing it again. The other curious fact is that apparently the CEO is an arab.
