The small pox vaccine is only effective for 15 - 20 years after administration. So chances are, even if you were one of the last to recieve this immunization, you are very likely susceptible to the disease now.

that's only true if you receive ONE vaccination. There are many Americans who (for various reasons) received multiple doses. The evidence suggests that lifelong immunity occurs for some exposed to multiple doses. However, no research study ever identified the exact level of immunoglobulins required to create immunity to certain exposure levels of the virus. So, we can't correlate the antibody levels in your blood to protection.
