Has Bill Hybels since made any statements that there should actually be consequences for sins? Prior to his condoning of Clinton's sexual immorality, I actually had respected his preaching and message. Also, any preacher who aligns himself with the socialist Tony Compolo and his 'social justice' Gospel warrants scrutiny. I personally know of a man who is quite wealthy and has conributed a great deal of money to very worthwhile Christian causes and was ostracized by Compolo as this guy was giving Compolo a ride to an airport simply because this most generous of Christian businessmen owned a Jaguar. Compolo may have good intentions, but he is a phoney.

I have disliked Campolo since many years ago when I was teaching a Sunday School class and the lesson book featured commentary by him. He seemed to love to advocate extreme ideas simply for shock value. To me shock jocks, shock artists, or, um, shock theologians show that they have no creativity or intellectual power so they resort to being outrageous.
