Okay, I'm 24 years old. I graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University. However, it's worthless, I presume? It doesn't mean anything that I practically spent all of my time reading in the University library. I misspell one word and all of a sudden I'm stupid, a product of the public schools. You've never misspelled a word? However, despite that, this topic barely gets any real discussion. I continue to see hundreds of posts on Anthrax. I mean, how many posts can we have on Anthrax? I want to see action, thus I decided to posts on troubling examples of reality. It was a goal of generating discussion in an effort to bring about ideas that could be used to implement a plan of action. You see, I've felt that we need good men to occupy the ranks. However, I've seen very few. Therefore, I'm seriously considering entering the political system.

It's a shame that the "misspelling" of one word is more important than a topic of concern.

You will have achieved maturity when you laugh at this, rather than announce your disgust with the way the thread has turned, promise to no longer engage others in this thread, and yet continue to post and lecture.

Calm down....it's ok...we're just playing....

There may be more education in these rooms than you can shake a stick at...maybe most of us have spent hours in college libraries...but don't let that wig you out!

Typo's and spelling errors are ok!!! It's just that your subject AND your boo-boo were a funny mix!

LEARN TO LAUGH AT YOURSELF!!!

I applied to be a member of the spelling police but my spelling sucked! They went and stuck ME on the "FASHION POLICE FORCE" instead!!! Talk about IEarny!

MY MOTTO: (ok, one of my MANY motto's --or is that mottoes???):

SPELLING AIN'T NO MORAL ISSUE!!!

My husband holds elected public office and he has for ten years. We are Republicans but the party doesn't give financial backing on the "local" level...we save our money and pay for his signs...we do hand out information that we put together on our own computer. My husband is a decent man who wanted to run because he wanted to make a difference and he really goes to bat for his constituents. This country is only as good as it's people and as for our elected officials...it is only as good as the people that we put in office! It is up to us to pay attention!

Look, it may have been a valid post, but it's also funny as hell. You'll learn to check your preview for spelling and errors in grammar. I still slip up sometimes. Having a headline like this is too big a temptation for cheese comments, all your ____ belong to us comments, and the average Holy Grail fan. And the whooping llamas.

I hope that I step on no more tobes when I bring up a new subject here...

Does anyone else find it interesting that sometimes a young'un graduates from college thinking no one else has ever gone that route...neither has another ever worked so hard or learned so darned MUCH???

I wish---just as a case study---f.f. up there would let me know:

Are you the first in your family to graduate?

I don't think I ask this with malace...I'm just curious as to what leads certain graduates to this concept of themselves...?????

Help an old woman understand???????

Yep, I believe we've discovered the root of all yer problems, pard. And with post #132, you're really stepped in it now - ever hear the expression "when you find yourself in a really deep hole, stop digging"?

We're going to have to take up a collection now to buy you a thicker coat of skin and a sense of humor. I hear Hillary!'s not using hers since Sat. night . . . . . .
