And I saw the Who in 1976 at Winterland, SF, from the 1st balcony row, stage right, about 150 feet off the stage. Will never ever EVER forget that night.
I hope everybody will forgive us for being a little excited there. That was almost as good as sex. LOL!
THat brought me back - it was August 1971 and Who's Next had been in the stores for a week. I'd already memorized the album and saw them in the 16th row at Boston's Music Hall. Most concerts on that tour were outdoors, so when they brought all that equiptment into the 4000 seat MH, it blew the doors (and my ears) out!
