This is really a reply to all; What a great thread!!
I feel bad that I missed the entire show, having gotten home around midnight, but this thread has really given me at least some of the feeling of how it went. I really hope they do a rebroadcast of it.
Fellow freepers, there has been some great commentary here and y'all went far in bringing the feeling of the show to me. Indeed, there's hope that we won't get fooled again.

dish network's version of tivo pvr unit on its 40 gig hard drive.Oh yes....the PVR 501. My new one should be here soon.
(I currently have a 'Dishplayer'. Love it, but it only has an 8 gig drive for 6 hrs recording)

The Glimmer Twins on the other hand were disappointing after the Ooo (and I'm a big fan,) doing their disco hit "Miss You". Mickey's prancing seemed a little excessive and artificial. And I always understood (misunderstood?) "Salt of the Earth" to be tongue-in-cheek like so much of the Stones stuff. It sounded great, well rehearsed for such an old obscure chestnut, but perhaps inappropriate? Listen to this part:
'And when I search a faceless crowd
A swirling mass of gray and black and white
They don't look real to me
In fact, they look so strange'

Very moving in some spots! Yeah, like FReeper BCM's brother Mike Moran. Or the children on stage who had lost their fathers.
