Me, either. As Nick Nolte said in North Dallas Forty, "Far out."

"Enough already Paul. Just once, just once, I would like to hear him say, Thank you America for the opportunity you have given me. ."
He was on MTV a few hours ago and thanked the USA for saving their butts in WWII. He said if it wasn't for America they would be speaking German.
I watched it because the mayor was on and I caught it flippin the channels.

Gere is just a silly dreamer. Don't be that hard on him.

.."thank you God, for letting me be born an American." Thank you for that wonderful post. You brought tears to my eyes. My 16 year old daughter said that very thing to me a couple of days ago.

You think Fox News Channel will replay Hitlery getting booed?
I'd just love to see it again and again and again...

A bump so I can find this thread and read every reply. This is unbelievably long, but the new system makes it possible to keep the whole topic together. Great work, JohnRob. This is going to take hours - but I want to read every post about Hillary's boos. Thanks to all who took the time and effort to do this running commentary on the concert. FReep On!

In all seriousness, this night gives me hope that out of this horrible tragedy, a better nation and a better world will be born.
We may have seen the seeds tonight. Thank you all for being here.
I hope I will see some of you at the rally next Sat. Best wishes to everyone, the piano man.
To: Howlin
Wow! "Let It Be" with a Clapton solo and Paul's new song "Freedom".
I want to thank everybody for their comments and for making this a thread that will go down in FR history.
Good Night and God Bless America.

I felt I just watched a Beatle become human, and it was very uncomfortable to see
To: Angelwood
DKNY has a bootlegged tape WITHOUT the editing out of the boos! I could hardly believe my eyes and ears, friend.
We've moved into a parallel universe.
To: Angelwood
hitlery's boos begin about the 650# section.
To: Howlin
Well, the change is evident. Let's hear it for the song played when Cornwallis surrendeed to Washington at Yorktown:
"The World Turned Upside Down,"
To: cmsgop
I pity those who haven't been following from the beginning of the thread, and are now going to try and read it :)
