I don't agree with you. I don't believe that this is Islam vs. the US. The terrorists have distorted their religion, just as we have seen some cult leaders do with other religions. It's not a matter of being PC, it's a matter of looking at the facts, IMO.

Bin Laden would like nothing better than for this to be turned into an Islam vs. the US war. Our stand has nothing to do with being PC. As far as I am concerned, our war is with the terrorists. Period.

I've gone from thinking that "moderate, peaceful" Moslems were the Isalmic silent majority on 9/10, to hoping they were on 9/12, to being now resigned to the fact that they are an insignificant irrelevancy within the world of Islam.

President Bush said, "either you're for us, or you're for the terrorists." I don't hear a whole lot of Moslems speaking out very strongly against the events of 9/11. Half the Islamic world thinks that a Zionist conspiracy took down the Twin Towers. A good chunk of the rest thinks America did it. I haven't got much use for such people.

But I'm an open-minded guy, so here's my final offer to any "moderate" mullahs out there:

Roll out a big fat fatwa against bin Laden, Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, PFLP, Sadaam Hussein and family, etc. and bring me their heads on pikes.

Do that, and I'll buy lunch.
