Ireland was neutral in WW II, wasn't it? They didn't send troops to fight Hitler, did they?

This should have been posted as breaking news. (/sarcasm)
However, if Lord Britain treated Ireland like they treated Canada, there would never have been an IRA.

"..Irish starved to death..."
Do you by chance refer to the potato famine?

Don't waste your time sending me email. My relatives in Sligo are all dead thanks to the Brits. Huh? What email?

But they have a better record of avoiding the killing of innocent civilians than their Protestant counterparts do. The loyalists didn't often go for economic, military or government targets.
Republicans have killed a lot more people than loyalists though loyalists were killing as many as republicans in the run up to the ceasefires of 1998.

Catholics are alive in NI because of the protection of the IRA and Catholics are also dead because the IRA killed them. The IRA probably killed over 2000 of the 3600 who have perished.

You seem to have overlooked the links between the Vatican and Nazism to combat Communism. The Jesuits as you might expect played a key role but that will hardly come as a great surprise.

Why do you terrorist apologists hide behind Irish Catholic skirts? You're a lot of 'old women'.

Save time. Read Irish history and do both!

I thought the Irish spent much of the time fighting each other in the dim and distant - or maybe not so distant - past. The English, the Scots - and the Pope - joined in from time to time.

Bullbleep. You need to wake up. The IRA is not an army, it is a bunch of cowardly murderous thugs who hide from the light and who target civilians. They linked arms with the Nazis in WWII, but they'll never have the guts to admit it.
Who were Clinton's two favorite (male) guests at the White House? Yassah Arafat and Gerry bin Adams. No,really?! Yes, really.
Have you seen a declaration of strong support for the U.S. from this crowd yet (or from Eire for that matter). No you haven't and don't hold your breath. In fact if you turn over some of the slimier rocks you'll find the IRA has been playing kiss and giggle with the al Qaeda boyos for a long time.
The IRA is to Northern Ireland what Hamas/Hezbollah are to Israel. Same phony causes, same methods. Same pious proclamations of injustice, same hate. Put 'em in nightshirts and headbands and you'd never know the difference.

The World War II alliance between the Nazis and the IRA has been known about for years. As Lockjaw would say, "Nothing new here!"

I take a more general approach. Bombs killing babies is bad, regardless of whom.
