Thanks from me too!
I have been looking for this for several months - ever since I lost the issue. Loaned it to a friend, actually, and never got it back. One of the best things the New Yorker ever published in my opinion.

Great Article. For some more good reading pick up Ken Alibek's (Soviet bioweapons) Biohazard which is now in paperback and for some really scare nonfiction Richard Preston's The Hot Zone about Ebola.

Great stuff. Saved this and "Demon in the Freezer" to my hard drive.

Anyone who is even mildly interested in following on-going events, with some additional background documents & info should go to & read through
www.cryptome.orgThis is either certified nut-case, or good info ( & might be a mix of both ).

There is information in this article I would be reluctant to talk about.
"One of the side effects of the closing of the American bioweapons program was that the United States lost its technical understanding of biological weapons."
With time, aging, and deaths, the cream of our knowledge of the area has been lost. The world's one-time authority on biological dissemination, if he is still alive, would be 95 years old.
