Of course, the Japanese were at least in marked airplanes attacking military targets, not cutting stewardesses throats to fly planes into buildings full of civilians. After enjoying American open door hospitality.

But that doesn't mean it is responsible for a poster to throw up a pic of people he/she doesn't know, to misidentify them, and, by the very act of posting the pic, to imply that the individuals depicted have some connection to the topic of this thread.
These immigration policies and regulations were set forth in peace time. We are now at war.
There needs to be two sets of rules regarding immigration. One for peace time and one applicable during war.

I agree Travis. The story is outrageous. I believe the guy. My remarks in this thread have been somewhat misconstrued. I'm only saying that as far as the American legal system is concerned, the Ethiopian student would have almost no chance of proving his version of the story unless one of the Saudi students or some disinterested witness verified his account.

You're getting carried away. In my book, nobody can be called anything on the basis of some anonymous photo and some typical leftist student cant on a website. You're forgetting what Lt. Lois Einhorn, Sean Young's character in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, referred to as "a little something called evidence."
And that after, when the police arrived, the police did not arrest the Saudis for "inciting a riot" and hold them for the FBI as terrorist suspects.
They should have had the CRAP beaten out of them, instead they "gamed the system" to put charges on a good American who tried to stand up for America against terrorism.
