Billy Graham Fulfilling last Prophecy?

It may be related to that, but do not go around setting dates. The return of Christ may not happen for 500 years. We simply do not know.

The return of Christ may not happen for 500 years.

Israel will not regathered to the land again, after this time. And they simply won't last another 500 years -- given the demographics of the Islamics and the weapons which are being developed and their penchant for killing everyone who doesn't embrace Islam. I've read here on Free Republic, that given the demographics of the Islamics that the United States won't last another 20 years.

You have to believe a fairy tale to believe Israel will last another 500 years (as you're saying is "possible") the way things are going now. It's not possible. The world situation is simply too bad with the weaponry (biological and other weapons of mass destructinon) getting into smaller groups' hands. That makes for sure destruction -- unless Christ comes quickly -- which the Bible says He will -- in order to save the elect and set up His Kingdom.

Christ is not coming in 500 years..., but very much less than that. All it takes is "common sense" to see that. You don't even have to be a Bible scholar.

Actually, we do know that Jesus will return within the next six years. Look at Mark 21:20-32. Notice that Jesus said that this generation will not pass away until all is fulfilled. So what generation was he talking about? The generation of the until... That was the generation that saw Israel take back Jerusalem in 1967's six day war. A generation is 40 years, so we see that Jesus will come back for the church before the end of 2007.

As for setting dates, we don't know, but we do know we are in the season. We know it is almost time. And you will see the faces of Christians shining with the Glory of God, for God will make his church glorious for his Son Jesus to return and gather to himself. We will be rescued from the coming wrath.

And if you care to accept it, we passed the third seal back in the late 1980's.

"500 years"

Mmmmm? I don't think so! There is also the scripture which says the last generation will be "the generation that sees the fig tree bloom"; the fig tree is Israel. Israel bloomed in 1948. My generation is the last!

Isaiah 17:1 it says, "The burden of Damascus. It has been taken away from being a city, it has become a ruinous heap." Damascus is a 2000 year old city - so that scripture is still to be fulfilled.

Also, Damascus is where Arafat has his headquarters.

Also, Damascus has built a moat around the city (according to Jersalem Post) and inside the moat are skud missles aimed at Israel.

Now, connect the dots ... Syria sends missles raining down on Israel, and POW, Israel levels Damascus! Interesting huh??

There's more, but I don't want to bog you down now - just understand this; there is no way the world can last another 500 years - no way!!
