There's more, but I don't want to bog you down now

Are you trying to make a point or just be condescending? A thousand years is to the Lord as a day, and a day is as a thousand years. Just do not go around trying to set specific dates. The important thing is to be ready. He may not return for another 500 to 1,000 years, or maybe next week. I don't see how it can go on much longer myself, but we simply do not know. The president of Family Radio was made to look like a fool, when he predicted the second coming for Sept of 1994. Be ready.

Be ready

That is the important point. Be ready. If you are, it will not matter if the end comes tomorrow or later.

Well, you can believe we have 500 - 1,000 years if you want; that is your privilege. However, I believe there is a scripture which says, "it HAS BEEN GIVEN UNTO YOU TO KNOW THE MYSTERIES AND SECRETS OF THE KINGDOM"; also, we (as Christians) are supposed to know the "times and the seasons". The Bible is progressive revelation - God did it that way on purpose. If you just look around you, I agree we cannot go on much longer this way. But I do believe it was also prophesied that people would grow weary of hearing that Jesus was coming soon - and treat it as a joke.

I didn't mean to sound condescending - it was more a concern of overloading the person with more prophecy than he could handle.

I heard a prophecy in 1985 - a great deal of which has already come true. Years after, I relistened to the tapes of the prophecy and experienced an encounter with God. It was also witnessed by a guest in my home. I am fully persuaded the 1985 prophecy is very accurate. This is why I am confident in saying there is not much time left. Do I have a date? Absolutely NOT! The Bible is very clear that only the Father knows - but as Christians, I do see and sense a wrapping up of things.

But, quite frankly, I don't care if anyone believes me or not. I just keeping telling people - and when it happens (Damascus), people will realize they don't have much time to make their decision for Jesus.
