I once did a report for some college history class that covered the use of animals in war.

It was the only fun history report I had ever written.( I was an engineering major)

Anywho,
Along with cow catapults, incendiary fruit bats in WWII, and donkey bombs in Afghanistan, I
found out that flaming pigs were often used in earlier wars.

I don't remember all the details but apparently you put a little oil on a pig, light
him up, point him in a specific direction, and he becomes a medieval cruse missile.

From the historical reports I read, they will stay on track for hundreds of yards,
then start catching things on fire when they get to their target.
