No, his job approval remains at 90-92%. This is a poll of which is better at this type of crisis, Bush or Clinton. Some who approve of Bush think that Clinton would be even better.

These are excellent results, and one can only hope that this is trumpeted over the airwaves. May it reach the eyes and ears of the Clintons, and may there be much wailing nad gnashing of teeth!

Guess some people will never get it.

I have always thought it was the folks who hated Clinton with a vengeance that never "got it." Remember P. T. Barnum's famous quip regarding "suckers."

You are NEVER going to convince that die-hard, core Democrat constituency that Clinton's woes were attributable to anything other than the VRWC.

Just get over it, live with it, and even though you may not understand it, ACCEPT it.

It's like particle physics. You and I can't really understand it, but you have to accept that's the way the universe works.

In fact, in modern times it is generally accepted that 40% are die-hard for each end of the political spectrum, and the battle is for the hearts and minds of the 20% in the middle.

Clinton down to 20% is astonishing, actually. It means GWB has not only won the h&m of the middle 20, but has captured 20% of the enemy camp as well! Astonishing is putting it mildly!

Just to think this is the poll BEFORE Barbara Olson's book, The Final Days, hits the media outlets! The sink emporer's empire is sinking so fast, the rats won't be able to jump ship fast enough. I remember when his dad's poll numbers were just as high during the Gulf War. Hopefully he'll do a better job than his dad did. If Osama and Saddam are still around and we're still experiencing attrocities in America come next election time he'll be a distant 2nd no matter who runs against him.

I agree, I find Zogby has been closest to the actual election results for some time. He does bring to our attention things that frustrate us -- Zogby was very accurate in the Hillary/Lazio race, and I wish he hadn't been! I still can't believe New Yorkers were quite that stupid, maybe the recent attack has woken some of them up.
