As heartsick as I am about 9-11, I know these people grieve more.

It's reading accounts like these that bring 911 so close to home for all of us. I am astounded more each day by just how far-reaching the horror of this day has become. My brother is an air traffic controller in Philadelphia and the first time I spoke with him on 911, you'd have thought his wife and kids had been killed he was so hurt, dismayed, saddened and in shock....like so many. My heart goes out to all of these who were in contact with those planes at the given moment of impact. May God Bless you all.

Studdert replied. "I'll never be the same person.I think that's true for most of us. It took a chunk out of my heart that will never completely heal. May God bless those people (the ones working at the airlines and control towers who had to helplessly watch) with mercy and strength.
