I'm not an expert. I can only relate what I've read here on FR myself. What you're seeing are the tracer rounds, about every fifth bullet, fired from the C-130 with a time lapse camera as the C-130 flys around in a large circle. The amazing thing to me is that you're only seeing one in five bullets fired.

Those are Vietnam era footage. I tell, you, we militarily won that war, but then gave it all up.
