Are you aware that out in the Western US, a lot of Mormons think that Utah is “Zion”? You think your “Zion” is the only “Zion”? Down in the Southeastern US, some Christians think that the US is the “New Zion”. Many of the Mexicans out here where I live think Mexico is “Zion”, and many Native Americans think “Zion” is their own tribal land. Now are we all going to start fighting among ourselves about this?

Support America as a Nation, or leave. I am certain if you read History Books you would understand his passion. We are not a country based on relgion.

I understand his passion. And, while we are not a country based on religion, we are a country based on values. Those values were derived based on religious teachings, e.g., our obligation to pursue justice, to cherish liberty, and to fight evil and tyranny. My attitudes are based on the number of instances where the American leaders and people have NOT been true to those values. I'm not saying the Israelis are any better. I'm just saying that I look at a particular issue and decide, based on my religious values , whether the words or deeds are truly in "America's interests". I'm not saying everyone has to have my religious values. What I am saying is that there are some core values (which in the case of Jews, Christians, Hindus and many others are based on religious teachings) which society must have in order to exist.

I didn’t post that page you posted. I’ve never seen it before. I posted link to maps. I couldn’t find any 1945 Palestine maps on Israeli websites. Just go to an old library and look at old atlases. They all show “Palestine” if they were printed before 1948.

If you’ve got a good Palestine land-ownership map published on an Israeli website, I’ll be happy to post it here. Why don’t you find us one?

I am quickly coming to the consideration that nothing good can come out of Mecca, especially since they hate Israel so much. What is it about a people that hinges its entire existence on exterminating a religion that has had the audacity to simply exist??? Considering all the other areas that they have a strangle-hold on (Africa, Saudi peninsula), what is it about that little 10 mile area surrounding Jerusalem that they find so integral to their essence of being??? If Jerusalem is so important to them, what is Mecca to them?
