October 16, 2001 -- Patriotic Americans want a fellow citizen who says he'd like to join the jihad to get out of the country - and they're prepared to personally pay for his one-way ticket to Kabul.
More than a dozen readers contacted The Post yesterday offering to stump up the cash to grant 24-year-old Maine resident Isamu Dyson his wish: to fight for the Taliban in Afghanistan.

You know, I have heard that sometimes people just disappear up there in the Down Under. Maybe it was Stephen King or someone who said that. I just don't remember.

I just don't remember. You must have been home baking cookies when you heard it. Many things Hill-de-beast can't recall for the 'zact same reason.

We need to take him over and shove him out of a C-130 and let him test the HANO jumping system.

"This is not going to go away," he said. "This is not just a fringe group that, all of a sudden, other Muslims are going to ignore."Which is it? Are these Muslims a fringe as the media and Muslim PR groups would have us believe or do the actual Muslims speak for Islam? 82% of Pakistanis appear to think Osama is a holy dude with a righteous cause. Is that fringe?

"These people" are excercising their first amendment rights too.

First of all, this shmuck seems to want attention more than anything else. He is not so much a Muslim zealot as a brat.
Secondly, if he wants so much to die for Afganistan and his version of Islam, let him go to Afganistan, instead of staying here and shooting off his mouth.

Chitwood said cops re-interviewed Dyson yesterday, but they can't arrest him because he hasn't broken the law. Time to change the Law. The new law should say: Moslems must be evacuated to any other country for their own safety.
We wouldn't want them to take the chance of being in the way of their own people's terrorist atacks.

Hundreds of folks died that way on the sidewalks and streets around the WTC, so it's fitting.
And make it a tandem HANO jump: strap a sow pig to his chest.

Maybe there's still some obscure law on the books that says we can try him for treason and, if he's found guilty, hang him until such time as he is dead.

Oh yeah, this one's a classic!

Robert Grappa, 50, a seafood distributor at New York's Fulton Markets, said: "If we have to, we should fly a plane over Afghanistan, give him a parachute and say goodbye."Why waste money on a parachute?

Just wait until our own suicide terrorists are put into action. What's good for the goose, is good for the gander. It would be such a "tragedy" if Mecca were bombed during Ramadan by a terrorist network within the US and Europe, wouldn't it?
To: Travis McGee
Oh, I think it is PERFECTLY fitting. Just saw your comment about HANO and couldn't help but think of "Blood on the Risers".
Take care,
Ruck
