Very seldom do I find it necessary to correct one of your posts. It pains me to do this, but there is one area in which I believe your opinion is worthless.

Based on your opinion I tried turkey bacon.
It is worthless, doesn't look or taste like real bacon. As an experiment I cut a wheaties box into strips and fried it up. Yes, it tasted just as good as the "turkey" bacon.

I will never again trust your opinion on any food subject.

Reg, can I ask what brand you sampled?

When my father was in town a few months ago, we had him over for breakfast, and my wife made turkey bacon. My dad (who loves his food, and who does eat regular bacon regularly) thought it tasted just like the real thing.
