The scripture that allend quoted according to many commentators indicates the Christ is foretelling that the Holy Spirit will breath the Scriptures for the apostles to pen.

Yes, that would be correct, but it pertains to more that just the Church during the lives of the Apostles, but to the Church until the end of the world. "I do not ask in behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that Thou didst send Me."
Thus, the Church has to exhibit that unity in truth for all the world to see, believers and non-believers, until the end of the world.

We seem to be on the same page particularly :
I do not ask in behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word;
I understand this phrase to mean "the Word", "the Holy Spirit breathed Word" penned by the apostles.
My only disagreement is over the phrase "until the end of the world."
My understanding is "until the end of the age" .
