Reggie - This is from your post above with the quotes from the Orthodox source concerning the Papacy. This is the "unclear hint" I was referring to. Did you mean to suggest that there are Catholic sources that teach that Christ is dead? If you did, then Dave is right in saying that the quotes you followed don't further that accusation. If you didn't, the no one is claiming that the Catholic's teach this, and Dave was rather defensive in making that the main point of his response. That's all I meant.

Reggie comes to Havoc's aid, and Havoc said "Jesus didn't pick a successor because no one can succeed Him. He isn't dead."

No. I posted those quotes to show SD that some Catholics teach differently than he does. The "Jesus is dead" argument is simply another SD strawman and has no relevance. SD, apparently hopes no one notices his little game.
