I thought that during the pregame introduction, they looked loose, and not intimidated (unlike the Giants last year, who had 'failure' stamped on them before they even set foot on the field).

Yeah, I think they had the game already won in their minds and being introduced as a team instead of individuals spoke volumes about their mindset.

Buh bye, Madden and Summerall. I can't believe they were questioning the Pat's decision to try to score with almost 1:30 left. The Patriots played to win, rather than to avoid losing

Really, what some bonehead announcing that was. Play for overtime against the Rams, one of the most potent offenses in the league.

Exactly. At that point, the Rams offense had momentum. If the game goes to overtime, and the Rams get the ball first, its very likely that the Patriots never get a shot to score.
