C'mon, are those types of comments really necessary?

Are you familiar with cats? If so, have you seen one do something stupid such as fall off a table. They pretend they did it on purpose, stick their tail up in the air, and saunter off.

Sometimes Dave does something very similar. He will make an utterly rediculous statement and, when called on it, he will pretend it was done on purpose. I think Dave understood very well I meant the remark in jest. (I certainly hope so.)
