Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |
First of all, you'll need a site on the web to host your pics. Then it gets easy from there. You just code in the link to the picture into your message, and voila ... there's the pic.
Do you have a web site or have access to one?
Check your freepmail.
Do I need to get a scanner or is it better to take them to some one to put on a disc?
And thanks for the offer.

Once you have the pictures as a data file, then you just need one of our friendly FReeper buddies to put it on one of their pages.
Thanks for the info SD.

Hebrews 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
And then how do I get them on my puter and then send them to someone who has a site so they can be posted?

The Word was God. Period.
The Father, Son, and Spirit are all consubstantial, that is they are the same essence, the same being. Three persons, One God. Three roles, One God.
Yes, God is priest. He is also the victim. And the recipient of the sacrifice. And the being who takes the gift of the Son to the Father. And the being that returns the Sacramental Body and Blood to the altar.
Yes, God is mediator to Himself. Yes, He prays to Himself. No, Paul is not mistaken.

There, that's better. ;^)

Better change that to past tense, too. ;-)

Jim, I hope you know me well enough by now to know that it wasn't intended as a putdown.
and even then, they were not direct words from God, but words of wisdom.
True, this is not a direct quote, but isn't the whole of scripture the word of God?
The 3rd quote you gave was Lev 19:18 and it said nothing using the word forgiveness, but was talking about not taking vengeance and loving your neighbor, while it may be the spiritual equivalent of forgiveness
I don't know why you feel that the word "forgiveness" must explicitly be mentioned. Not taking vengeance or holding grudges, and loving your neighbor certainly imply that forgiveness is necessary. Can you love your neighbor and abstain from grudges or vengeance without forgiving him when he wrongs you?
A quick search of the Christian scriptures shows that not once does Jesus tell anyone not to take vengeance or to hold grudges. Sure, he says to forgive people, but (using the same logic) if they can take vengeance and hold grudges, but still forgive, then they can forgive, while still taking vengeance and holding grudges. Am I to conclude then that Christians are instructed to forgive, but still may take vengeance and hold grudges? (The words of Paul are irrelevent here, because they are not the words of Jesus).
See my point?
Now, can we kiss, errrr, give each other a manly clap on the shoulder and make up?
In the old days, when a thread was all on one downloaded page, a post like that was known as a "thread-killer". No one would bother to page all the way past that to read later comments, so the thread would die.
'Course, you know that, you're an oldtimer too.
After enduring countless hour-long sermons at a bible church with my nondenominational girlfriend back during my college years, I heartily agree with this sentiment.
Still, do you see any place for communal worship? Is your house church concept just a bible study group, or does it involve communal worship? If it does, what does it involve, and who plans and leads it?
Tell her that the dentist will use anaesthesia, and you won't.
BECKY, FERCRYINOUTLOUD, GO TO THE DENTIST! Trying to tough it out is something a man would do, not a reasonable woman like yourself.
Yikes. I might find myself standing up and yelling out "Alleluia!" just to stretch my legs. ;-)
Now, we Catholics get a full aerobic workout in our services.

If you have a picture already taken, you can scan it or have it scanned at Kinko's or some other print shop. Otherwise, when you have some film developed, have them make a photo CD, too. It doesn't cost that much more.

Drag and drop. Then email them. Or (if one of us is brave enough) someone can give you access to the site and you can upload them.
