Hi all
Fifteen years ago my mother-in-law was always saying I needed to cut my hair and look my age. The last time I saw my mom, she said I needed to cut my hair. It's not much longer than shoulder length and I usually wear most of it back in a barrette ( for 29 years). I am totally stuck in a rut. But I just don't like the idea of short hair. I don't know why - maybe it's because I refuse to do anything my mother or mother-in-law "suggests" *L* See? I'm not grown up enough to have short hair.

Pray that you NEVER reach that age. Anything approaching the length of my hair is WAY too short for a woman. (except for Mary Lou Retton, and Prentice's Lovely Linda, and my Mom who is starting to look identical to Mary Tyler Moore the older she gets. Spooky.)
A lot of women do the shoulder-length thing. Looks good.

Val .. my suggestion on the hair .. put a few layers in it .. that way .. you can still pull it back and get everyone off you back because you got it cut .. hehe

or go to a classy beauty parlor and have them trim it an inch
and then give you a new hairstyle
also buy some of the new fun barrettes

It's your hair, dahlin', wear it the way you want to. I've tried the Peggy Noonan length but it isn't really me. Mine isn't real long just about to the top of my shoulders, I like the way it feels on my neck.
