Its ignored if the browser doesnt understand it. I love it and i know NS 6.1 and ie6 understands it.

The reason I asked is when something that's not exactly supported is shoved in a style sheet, it tends to break things. Since the newer browser do support it, test it out to make sure it works as you think it should and suggest it.
