She has been written about in local papers, freerepublic and the Wall Street Journal. She has been talked about on Rush Limbaugh, many other talk radio shows and on CNN.

Because of this, people have on their own looked up her home and office contact numbers and spoke their mind. She records her voice mail and lurks here looking for nasty and threating messages. This way she can prove to other liberals that she is the moral one who is being attacked by mean spirited right wing whackos.

I know that you know of people who come here to discredit us from the "inside". I know you personally know, probably via the internet, of people who you know have registered on Free Republic, to act like regular FReepers while occasionally posting vial, inflammatory stuff. I know you have played the victim since this action occurred, in an effort to shift the focus off of you and onto your perceived enemies.

We are your enemies, Jennie.

We stand for something you could never possibly understand. We stand for property rights. We stand against Marxism. Everything you hold dear, we fight against. We are indeed your enemy.

She was trying to make public policy at a local town meeting. She was trying to keep the city from flying the flag. Her comments are what made people mad, But I agree with you that people should not threaten her. Even people on the right sometimes do things based on emotions.

I think you should back off and the leave the Woman alone, who gave you the right to hound her with your ideas of what patriotism is, this Country stands for Freedom of Speech, and if you disagree with what she said, that's fine, you have that right, but to continue to harass her, or incite others to harass her, you are demonstrating the simplest form of Facism, even if you try to wrap it in the flag, it is everything this Country does not stand for.

Why not vent to your Senators and Congressmen, as to why they just passed a series of bills that trample the Fourth Amendment, this is far more dangerous to Liberty, than anything that this woman could ever conceive.

Have you ever read the secular piece, Original Sin? It was first published here at FR. I wonder if Jennie Traschen has. And if she has, I wonder just how much denial she must have to muster in order to reject the conclusion of that piece.

Now admittedly in some respects she's right about our flag. But only in the narrowest sense, indicating just how thin her thinking must be. It represents "a symbol of terrorism and death and fear and destruction" alright.

BUT THANK GOD MOSTLY FOR OUR ENEMIES! Like the occasions of that flag being raised on Iwo Jima, or Normandy Beach. Because if it hadn't been raised in those two places, in all probability, she whouldn't be able to voice her opinion about it today.

But then maybe she's actually one of those academic closet Fascists on the far left, who would have actually prefered National Socialism to our Constitutional Republic.

I don't think it was her monitor, I think it was more that CNN was just giving an example.

I'm watching it right now on CNN (no, I'm not a regular watcher, was just surfing past and I recognized her from a news article I had read). Anyways, she's bemoaning the fact that she's not free to speak her mind. I have to disagree. She's absolutely free to speak her mind, but she has to understand that in doing that, she has to be prepared for others to respond to what she says. If they like it, they can applaud her. If they don't (and I didn't) then they're free to respond (as I did).

Saw the CNN show...she's disgusting...recognized the waving flag flying at half mask from FreeRepublic as I had copied it to some Emails. Asked my husband about I'mhurt University and his comment was, "It's highly rated both liberally and educational." Would love to write her personally...anybody have her address?
