It was certainly a tragedy that her old man got popped by a lunatic. He was in government service, therefore a potential target of any extremist, whacko and/or self deluded combatant in an anti-American campaign.

Can you envision the widow/widower of a military person demanding the end to all weaponry after their spouse dies or is injured in "combat"?

Sarah: Get a life, move on, grow up and keep your filthy little grasping hands off my firearms before you lose a limb from touching what is not yours to control.
