"These passive/naive gun owners need to get a wake up call."

How the Brady Bill Passed (and subsequently - "Instant Check")
When the Brady Bill was passed into law on November 24, 1993,
the Senate voted on the Conference Report
and passed the Brady Bill by UNANIMOUS CONSENT.

NOT ONE SENATOR FROM EITHER PARTY VOTED AGAINST THIS
AND THE NRA HELPED DRAFT THE BRADY BILL.

I think anyone who turns in a gun - real or play - should be rewarded with a gas mask, a lifetime supply of Cipro, and free transportation to a very secret hideaway in a super duper extra special and extra super safe place that no terrorist could ever find. It's far more humane than simply lodging a 12 guage slug in the cranium of someone trying to crop dust the high rises in my city, albeit a bit less effective.

And by the way, there's no threat of any foreign or domestic enemy trying to hurt any Americans, so why would an American need a gun? We're all perfectly safe at our homes and businesses and there is no violence with which we need to be concerned. I mean, for crying out loud, who would ever want to hurt us?
