The internationalist anti-US crowd in this country has been working this angle subtly ever since 9/11.
The pro-UN and world government crowd would like nothing better than to use this tragedy for their own political agenda.

This is perhaps one the most insipid, stupid, and unintelligable pieces I have seen since 9/11. The last time we did what she proposed it got 18 Americans killed and 75 wounded in Mogadishu. The ignorance here is astounding - Helen Thomas did not get where she got because she covered UN secretary's, she covers Amereican presidents. Apparently this went right over this indbags head. Rush said this week that Thomas was a 100% "I hate Republicans" liberal and he is exactly right. I doubt her conduct would be the same had Algore stolen the election.

Helen Red Lips is an absoleute idiot on this. Her senility is getting to her. She so conveniently forgets how the UN is used by other nations to gain US intelligence, as proven by the North Vietnamese.
There is also the little thing of being responsible for your actions. Where in this case she would prefer we put the entire free world in jeopardy, rather then confront and eradicate the problem once and for all. Her intimation is that if we pass off responsibility, we will be safer because the target area of the terrorist will now include many more nations to chose from.
