Yeah, what those other people said.

Plus, I don't recall being asked for photo ID for a domestic flight. Just international. And the number of meals doesn't almost exactly match the number of passengers on cross-country flights. You're given a couple of choices, as a rule. While they usually run out of the more popular one by the time they get to me, there's still no way they get even close to an exact meal/passenger match.

Always! You just don't recall. The rules went into effect 5 or 6 years ago.
