Ivan, I was at RAF Greenham Common in 1983, when the first ground launched cruise missiles arrived. All those peace mongering women were camped outside the gate. I don't think the local British liked them much, and I think they were involved with CND. I was in the control tower, when, all of a sudden, we looked up, and saw a car speeding across the infield, across the runway, toward a USAF C-5 sitting on the ramp. This was a few weeks after the Marine Barracks in Beirut was blown up. A 20 year old USAF security policeman, took off after him and hit him head on with his vehicle. Talk about a helpless feeling from the tower, there was nothing we could do, but watch.

The CND have always been no-shows in the fight against evil. They denounce fascism, but would take no active measures to fight it. They are the ultimate cowards and I am ashamed of them living under the protection of our country and our civilisation. Worthless, useless, shameless all of them.

Regards, Ivan
