I'm sure someone has already written this notion but, "Manna from heaven, to a malnourished child!"

Think about the Holocaust. You might be to young to remember but we did not drop food to the Germans we dropped bombs
To: RnMomof7
The Germans weren't being killed in the Holocaust.....
To: RnMomof7
You apparently have a problem with labeling an entire race by the worst of it.
To: Texaggie79
The Germans weren't being killed in the Holocaust.....LOL.....LOL.....NO the Germans were the ENEMY..just like the Muslims . there were "innocent Germans" that had great hardships, they died in the bombings, their children were hungry..we did not drop food to help them ..we dropped bombs to kill the Nazis.Sometimes we killed innocent woman and children..that is war...
The problem is too many people dont understand what a war is..you break things and kill people

The sad part is some of the food we sent is not anything they would eat. They didn't know what peanut butter was for. Didn't like the poptarts. Said they needed beans and rice more. We should have figured that out before we sent them all this stuff they have never seen or tasted before.

OHHHHH I see were you are going with this. The MUSLIMS are the enemy huh? Every single Muslim is our enemy? WOW.... that's really all I can say......... just WOW!

The problem is the refugees are our ALLIES. They are in the same boat as us. The refugees are in no different position than the Jews were. They are persecuted and slaughtered by the Taliban. You simply cannot count the mass children that had to watch the Taliban soldiers come in and butcher their Parents because they are of the wrong tribe, or they did not follow the EXACT Taliban law.
I hope, one day, your eyes will open and see that we are fighting the EXTREME fringe of Muslims just as we would fight the extreme fringe of Christians if they were committing violent acts upon us. And I'm a Christian.

The truth is you do not know that the people that are gathering the food are our Allies do you? It could be anyone!
BTW A few years ago the taliban were "ALLIES",we even gave them assistance..Iraq was once our "friend"..today they would cut your throat..
OH BTW the "they " were little kids when we helped them against Russia.
Send your dollar..I have lived long enough to know a cheap political PR move when I see one..and to see the sheeple respond to the masters voice..this keeps the oil coming for now and has little to no future benefit..except like Iraq and the Talaban..will come back to haunt you in the future

I think your comments on this thread are "hunting over a baited field". Sometimes astringent humor is mistaken for cruelty. happy hunting,

Glad to see the UN bashers of the program are wrong. Great PICS and I hope they eat well. The smaller packages will do no damage; but I hope the box car lands on Sammy bin Alladin's head.

Looks like neutrino got vaporized.... good.

I remember reading somewhere about a similar group of people in the desert who also received food drops from heaven. In those days they called the stuff Manna.

Beans and a Match huh? Old American gas trick?
To: RnMomof7
It could be anyone!Trust me, if there were any Taliban behind those lines, they would be killed by the Northern Alliance.
And if you want to get nit-picky you better not donate to the salvation army. Some poor American street kid that you help clothe or feed may grow up to rob you or kill you!!

There seems to be a big difference in the eating habits in the north of Afghanistan and the south!

"...proceeded to feed a few of the containers to his jackass."
Hey, the jackasses gotta eat too! I'm waiting for the environmentalists to start whining about how we're littering in Afghanistan.
