My first grandchild.. a precious little boy was born on Sept. 15th. Oh, how my daughter worried that he would be born on the 11th. For one, she was to deliver in Boston and they were evacuating most of the city.Having him in our lives the past few weeks has made this horrific attack easier to bear. I do worry about his future, though but our entire family is thankful that GWB is our leader.

I know what you mean. Sep 11, 2001 was my 50th birthday... I'm not much on celebrating birthdays anyway at this age, but it really put a damper on things.

But happy news... I finally got the front yard edged after ignoring it for 3 weeks while remodeling the kitchen. Maybe now the neighbors will smile at me.
