Blood and death make for strange bed fellows, never in my life did I expect to agree with Diane Fienstein on student visas.

The Koran actually advises its followers that it is the duty of a believer to kill all non-believers. In other religions, when beliefs strayed from the accepted norm, an edict was issued to change the offensive policy. For example, the Church of Latter Day Saints, and their policies regarding polygamy.
In the case of Islam, I see no indication of this, so I have to assume this is the policy this religion supports. To rely on some wishful thinking that believers in Islam ignore their beliefs, just to accommodate a different religion, is to actually insult their belief.
This does not promote harmony with them, but makes them even more disrespectful of the so-called infidels. We should take them at their word until we see some changes being made in their basic beliefs.

...never in my life did I expect to agree with Diane Fienstein on student visas.Feinstein's polls probably told her she had to propose something to avoid being dragged down in the discredited liberal undertow. I will be surprised if she ever brings it up again.

The definition of a moderate muslim is one who feigns peaceful intent until he can stab you from behind.

I don't know---isn't she Jewish? I think Jewish people here have been liberal because they felt so safe before. Now they know they are the number one targets of the Muslims who have infiltrated the US and hate Jews most of all. I used to wonder why the Jews in Israel seemed quite different than Jews in the US---not nearly so passive. I think Sept 11 changed many of us.

The "moderate moslems" are the advance party of the jihad.

I don't know---isn't she Jewish? It's likely with that name. She's a hard-working investigative reporter at NewsMax.com and she reads Arabic so the worms can't refute her facts.

Let's kiss em and make peace! After all one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. So according to the Islamist Nazi front groups on the home front.

Call it flattery or whatever, Bush has forced these weasels into a position where they either have to make good on Bush's "kind remarks" (which are about the present, not the past) or else face virtually unanimous public opprobrium. A very heavy hint to "repent or face the consequences."

It's PR for the near term benefits.
Long term, we need to "take the punches" (more 9-11 level events) to give us moral clearance to go ahead and do the heavy lifting at home and abroad.
