Agaiin, kitkat, I think Dr. Laura is not telling a whole truth regarding GWB. By saying she voted for the lesser of two evils, she gets herself off the hook for admitting she voted for him. Did she give any reason as to why she felt he was a lesser evil??? I am getting very, very disillusioned with Dr. Laura. LOL Actually, I think I am guilty here. While what I posted in quotes was verbatim, my preface to it was not. Maybe I unconsciously exaggered Dr. Laura's "lesser of two evils" statement. I believe what she said was much milder.
But you bring up an interesting point. I'm not a fan of any Aunt Agony shows, and only listen occasionally because our local radio programing is DULLSVILLE in that time slot. Do you feel Dr. Laura is abdicating her stance on morality because of criticism? I'd value your opinion.

I haven't listened to Dr. Laura lately as she has been moved to a different time slot. But after the whole homosexual outrage thing, she seems to have taken a more 'center of the road' position on various topics and lacks the inner fire she once had. She always seemed to be someone I could count on for a completely honest point-of-view, but I'm not so sure that is happening now. On the other hand, it is possible she is growing tired of the 'Aunt Agony' scene, thus reflecting in her work. Who knows for sure. But I certainly do hope that she would not let others change her ability to voice her opinions and viewpoints.
