Ok...I have to take back what I said earlier about being worried. i watched the tape I recorded all the way through and I think I came in here to soon (yes, my computer's in a different room than the tv) to start typing to y'all. While I won't back off the fact that I saw something different in Bush's face tonight...yes he did get stronger as he went forward. And mombonn, yes I did see the resolve...I think after the first time Vietnam was mentioned. Anyway...just wanted to get this straight. by the way..if my post's seem a little untimely...it's because I'm fight a P.C. that's on it's last leg.

Please forgive me......in no way, shape or form would I ever think of putting words in this man's mouth. "yappin" was my take on it.
Here is the actual quote: "And if I am convinced that a meeting with a particular party at this point in time will further the process, I will do so. If it turns out to be an empty photo opportunity that creates expectations that will become dashed, I won't meet.

The Democratic Underground probably has an alternate-reality take on it.
Maybe we can use democrats to open the envelopes. Kinda like canaries in a mine. Just make sure we dress them in uniforms without pockets so they can't steal anything.

Sure beats clinton's DEPRAVITAS!Hahahahahaha! All those gravitas guys are groveling on their words now! My favorite comment was to Helen Thomss...he wasn't going to intervene between Arafat and Charon as a "photo op opportunity."

You must have a great computer. On a long thread like this, loading only 50 replies at a time really speeds things up for me. I have a "high-speed" cable internet connection. It's MUCH better than the old 56K dial-up I used to have. I see now why John broke the threads up into 50-segment blocks, though. I'll have to live with it awhile to get used to it, I guess. :-)

I don't like the look as much, but I really like the breaking of threads into blocks I agree. I guess it's the look of this new FR format that bothers me - I can see why John broke the threads into blocks like this. We're past 400 on this thread alone! :)

I bought a bunch of Sore/Loserman stuff from that site. It's good quality merchandise.

A new light has dawned from the throne of Ronaldus Magnus.
Speaking of Clintoon, have you heard this: "Clinton ran the country single-handed. His other hand was too busy."

Watching on Fox News Channel and hearing Brit Hume say "And now, the President of the United States", I realized that after eight years, that phrase again fills me with pride. It's been a long drought.
