I think you have the style down well. :-)

But it needs an action item at the end that will keep the letter reproducing itself. Something to get people to want to pass it on to their friends. How's this: Instead of saying you didn't want to go to the authorities, you actually did call the FBI, and the voice at the other end said "don't say anything about this. We know all about it, and we decided it'll create too much panic if word got out. If such an incident does occur, we'll respond to the incident as soon as possible (after the fact) and track down the perpetrators." However, there's nothing to stop YOU <i.e. the lucky recipient of this email> from protecting yourself and your loved ones. Make sure your friends & relatives get this email, yadda yadda yadda.

Here's a scenario that scares me. Day after Thanksgiving, at least 4 malls, suicide bomber in the food court. Mall of American in Minnesota? Galleria in Houston? That takes care of the north and south bin Laden referred to. Also Westwood mall in Brentwood and a mall on the east coast. There goes Christmas, Hannakah, safety in the heartland, and retail sales.

Thank you for not flaming me. From what I read earlier on the thread, the Orange County Authorities were looking into this. I hope it is a "hoax", but I for one am not going to take a chance. We Trick-or-Treat on the streets around our house anyway, so they will not miss Halloween. I, as a mother, have a duty to protect my children with my life, and I will. :-) Deej
